Survey Of When We Are Considered Old Depends On How Old You Are Now

What age do you consider “old?” New research looks into what different generations think “old” means and for some of them, it’s a surprisingly small number.

The study from Wellsoon Practice Plus Group involves 2-thousand adults of all ages and it reveals:

Gen Z, (people 18-27) thinks old age hits at 57..That means Brad PittMike Tyson, Halle Berry and Salma Hayek, are now old people to them.

Baby boomers (60-78) think 60 is the new 40, with one in five of them feeling as much as 20 years younger than their true age. Boomers are the most active generation, with 68% considering themselves an active person. Boomers list 78 as the age you're old.

The average Boomer spends an average of four more hours outdoors outside of work hours, compared to other generations. 18% of boomers say they’re having the best time of their lives now.
