I've lost perspective on what I'm doing. I think it's good for me to take a break and reassess why I'm doing it and how I'm doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does.

How about your agent, or your limo driver or your hair stylist, or your masseuse, or the person who made that pajama top you wear like it's a shirt? No. But they're not artists like you! Well look at all the actors you work with who don't get top billing. They work whenever and as often as possible. Same as musician's, painters and everybody else. When someone says "I'm pausing my career to reassess why I'm doing it, there should be a universal fine implemented that is 95% of their wealth. You said that with several million in the bank and then immediately someone hands you a bank receipt that shows you have $884.32 left. There should also be some sort of fine on that shirt of yours too.
