Mark Heller took over for Shawn Chapman Holley as Lohan's lawyer after Lindsay fired Shawn last month because...I guess she figured she wouldn't have to pay Shawn the three hundred thousand dollars she owes her? For whatever reason Shawn is out and Mark is in. Mark is defending Lindsay against another drunk driving charge in LA. He wrote a letter to the prosecuter's and Judge that TMZ got a copy of. 

"Lindsay will gladly be participating in intensive psychotherapy, submitting herself to regular screenings and contributing her time to the production of public service messages." He also offers up Lindsay to speak at schools, hospitals and other venues "where she may provide inspirational talks." I think most parents would prefer to keep their kids away from Lindsay as opposed to inviting her in to their classroom or hospital room. The idea behind an inspirational speech is that they overcame something. Having her speak now is the equivalent of having someone who was paralyzed in a crash a decade ago come in and say "And that's when I gave up. I haven't left my room in years and my days are filled with porn and drugs to dull the pain".

My favorite part of his letter was when he told the prosecution and Judge "we can fix her". C'mon guys! What a great project for all of us. It's like restoring a classic car, after it's been driven over a cliff and exploded. I hear the intro to the Six Million Dollar Man starting up. "We have the technology. We can rebuild her". And then we see LiLo running 60 MPH....with some stolen jewelery.
