Bode Miller is considered the greatest male alpine skier of all time. But he apparently sucks at golfing. USA Today doesn't really tell us how it happened but Bode drove a golf ball directly in to his wife's face. His wife is professional beach volleyball player/fitness model, Morgan Beck. Thankfully she was wearing a pair of Kaenon sunglasses (whom I think she models for). She thanked them after she tweeted out a photo of the damage which made the room spin when I saw her face so I will leave that photo here. 

I'm not feeling so hot. Line drive to the face today with a golf ball from my darling husband.

Unless she was standing at the front of the tee box, this has to go down as one of the worst drives ever. Or maybe Bode was sending a message. In addition to being considered the greatest male alpine skier, he is also considered a massive jerk. Writers who cover that sport were thrilled to write headlines like "Bode is irrelevant...does anyone care" and "Miller is a tedious bore whose comments smack of hypocrisy ".  So a jerk drives a golf ball in to his wife's face nearly killing her, what does he say about that? So far he's tweeted "She's a trooper. Great job doc" and "Saturday is going to be a huge test for carving so send fast wishes". That could mean something about a race he's going to or he's going to try and finish her off. Either way he doesn't seem too concerned with it.
