Kim blogged about it over the weekend.
It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away. My heart is completely broken. When I first got Mercy, I had never lived with a cat before and so I had no idea that I was allergic. I thought that it might pass, but after a few weeks I decided to go visit two separate allergists, one of whom said my allergies wouldn’t get any better unless I started taking injections. I had fallen SO in love with Mercy that I wanted to try everything I could to keep her, but I didn’t think it was safe to resort to injections. I knew that Sydney, Khloe’s assistant, would be the perfect mom for Mercy and Sydney was so excited to have Mercy as her own! Sydney gave Mercy a loving home, but after a couple of weeks Mercy got sick and Sydney discovered our kitten had cancer and there was nothing anyone could do.
I bet if that kitten was a fur coat and Kim was allergic to it, she would have gotten shots. Kim talks like she's 14. She's 32 and should be old enough to know that if you love something you make sacrifices for it. But she didn't love the cat. She was enamored with it. Like she was enamored with Kris Humphries. Then she discovered she was allergic to people who don't do whatever she wants them to. I'm not even buying her "I just found out I was allergic to cats" excuse. She found out a cat can be a pain in her massive butt when you want to fly all over the world. I don't even believe she gave it away. Where was the blog about her being heartbroken to find out she's allergic but has found a great home for the cat? She blogs about crossing the street, so why not something "dramatic" like that? That cat was a hassle, and an assistant found it a great home in kitty heaven. I'm guessing Kim tweeted out that picture of her in a catsuit as a tribute in loving memory.
