I have never heard of Trisha Goddard, but that's because I don't watch Maury Povich. Trisha apparently made a name for herself on that show as a guest host, and consultant. I learned that on her wikipedia page where it turns out she was also a flight attendent. Maury makes it look easy, because it is easy. What exactly is it? It is getting mothers who don't know who the father of their child is to humiliate themselves by coming on and saying I'm a big ho, and everyone laughs at them. Then they'll parade a bunch of guys out who may be the father and then read back paternity test scores. The "best" shows are the ones where like 6 potential guys all find out it wasn't any of them and the mom runs off stage crying, and Maury gently hugs her and asks, "do you remember any other guys we can test for you"? So back to guest host Trisha. She can do that act too so NBC gave her her own show to try and duplicate the magic. All we need are dumb ho's. Well the ratings have been so-so, but yesterday Trisha landed a game changer. There had been rumors for years that Michael Lohan had fathered a child while still married to Dina. The only one who appeared on the show who seems to have any sense is the 17 year old "love child" who yells "I don't want to be a part of the Lohan train wreck"! But she just plowed in to that wreck. Her mom throws her on to that pile on NBC and acts like she just won something. She must have forgot Mike went to prison for insider trading and lost all his money. Plus he is about to have another baby with Kate Major whom he impregnated while she had a restraining order against him. So that is going to be a costly mess. You might be able to squeeze a few hundred a month out of him. But for what? She already grew up. So let's imagine the judge goes over the top and orders a 1000 a month retroactive. 12 grand a year for 20 years. It's going to take about 50 years to get that from Michael and in the mean time you've put your little girl on National TV against her will to be humiliated. But I guess this is the kind of parenting we have come to expect from women who make babies with this guy.
