Dr Phil is in a miserable marriage according to Radar. 

Dr Phil and his wife Robin have been butting heads over her role on his show, sources claim, with the resulting fights turning their mega-mansion into a war zone! The couple’s Mediterranean-style Beverly Hills mansion sits on three acres and boasts a 14,000-square-foot main house with five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Along with sweeping views of L.A., the celebrity palace also has a guest house and pool. Incredibly, super-rich Phil paid cash for the $29.5 million property. 

Obviously a bigger house isn't the answer. She's like 4'9"! Space isn't the issue, fame is. While you earned a Phd, got involved in the law, started consulting Oprah, before eventually becoming a guest and finally earning your own show, her bio reads; 

Robin has been a constant presence on the Dr. Phil show since the very first episode and viewers worldwide have embraced Robin and her no nonsense approach to life. 

In other words I'm a groupie who now wants to be a star. They're butting heads over her role on his show? Your his stay at home wife who now that the kids are grown can come watch the show. That's your role. If you were a star in the making Oprah would have already plucked you for her OWN deal. Ryan & Tatum O'neil have a damn show there so you don't even have to make sense!
