I want to thank Super Fan Seth for turning me onto this new guy Frank Foster. Personally, I'm loving his video and surprised that Frank isn't already on a major label and a big tour. That's just my opinion. Let's see what YOU think! Watch the video and vote below! Thanks, Michael J

Don't be surprised to hear me saluting our troops
on the show regularly. Politicians, I'm not a fan. But

Tour buses are Country stars homes on wheels so I didn't want to take pictures of the back where Phil keeps all of his personal stuff but here are a couple shots from inside a bus that Phil just bought from George Jones estate.
For years this bus has served as transportation for George's band.
I guess you know who these two guys are.
Phil Vassar always puts on a high energy show! Lots of Fun!

Congratulations go out to Darius Rucker, who received an Honorary Doctorate of Music at his Alma mater, the University of South Carolina over the weekend. Darius was one of the speakers at the Saturday morning commencement, recalling his time at USC where he formed Hootie & Blowfish with three fellow students in 1986. In his speech, Darius described living in the Moore men’s residence hall, singing Billy Joel alone in a shower that he jokingly described “as a big prison bathroom” with six showerheads and no curtain. He also encouraged students to make the most out of their education, saying, “I want you to take time, take some real time [and] find something that makes you want to give ‘til it hurts.” Source: The State

Dierks Bentley is opening "WHISKEY ROW"!!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 10, 2013
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row will open in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale’s entertainment district with a grand opening party on Thursday, July 4.
Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row will be the first of its kind to enter Scottsdale; it will have an old school country flare with a Scottsdale twist. With warm wood surroundings, the venue features a 400 sq. ft. stage which hangs from the ceiling directly above the bar in the middle of the venue and a massive 24 ft. TV located on the back wall. The stage will offer a 360-degree view of the performers and will host world renowned national and local country artists weekly, maybe even a surprise appearance by Dierks himself.
Being the most technologically advanced bar in the state, Whiskey Row boasts a state of the art HDMI video system managed by iPad technology which can control the video & sound from anywhere in the venue. As an added benefit to guests, Whiskey Row will offer several iPhone and USB charging stations available at the bar.
Each premiere booth at Whiskey Row will feature three different beer taps and never before seen in Arizona, a liquor tap. Guests will have their choice of Coors Light, Blue Moon and New Castle and liquors including Yukon Jack Whiskey, Grey Goose Vodka flavors, American Honey Whiskey and more. These hi-tech taps will allow guests to pour their own beer and shots right at the table with no waiting.
“Opening a bar in my hometown is something I’ve always wanted to do,” explains Bentley. “These guys have spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought into really cool details that will make it the perfect place to watch a game or listen to music or just get a few drinks with friends. I’m looking forward to helping break it in.”
