Thousands help to grant boys final wish

Alec Ingram had been battling osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, for more than four years and recently lost the fight. But the 14-year-old from Washington, Missouri had a last wish. He wanted a "Race Car Funeral". His mother put ot the word that they were looking for anyone with an exotic car to come to Washington MO to honor her son with his last wish. They couldn't believe that 2,100 sports cars and 70 motorcycles hit the road to fulfill his last wish.

The “Sports Cars for Alec” event was organized bySydney's Soldiers Always, a group that helps kids with terminal illnesses with bucket lists. Thanks to their efforts, thousands of sports and exotic cars helped escort Alec to his funeral. Some drivers came from as far as California, Florida, and New York to be part of it!

Alec’s mom, Jen, says "I couldn't keep it together trying to read those signs, that people brought. It was so overwhelmingly good for me to see how much my boy was loved."
